Int Ch, Sp Ch Goliat del Dominio De los Penates, joins our breeding program by way of Frozen Semen.
Goliat has captured my attention since he was young, where I first saw him at the 2007 French Clubmatch, it has been a pleasure to watch this dog mature.
His pedigree brings something new to not only my kennel but his bloodlines are very different from what we are used to seeing here in Australia.
Overall, we have chosen to work to a fairly specific breeding plan that incorporates many similar bloodlines from tried and true Dogues of the past. However, we also see the need to introduce new bloodlines without losing focus on correct type, structure and health. Goliat was just the dog we had been searching for.

Goliat's head type very strongly displays the correct hallmarks of a Dogue, even if pushing the boundaries of hypertype. His strong broad muzzle, correct trapezium skull structure, deep stop and excellent chin mark  were the qualities that convinced me that I needed to use this dog.
With this he also brings exceptional bone, chest and shoulder construction.

Goliat

Along with Goliat, we also jumped at the opportunity to collect from his kennel mate - Godsend Van De Paterhoek.
Godsend is still a young dog with plenty of potential and lots of maturity still to come.
It is his Dam's line that we are most interested in, being the son of Bjinte Van De Paterhoek the beautiful female who has produced some of the most famous Dogue's of today, Multi Champions Enferno and Dillen Van De Paterhoek.
Benefitting us is the common ancestory of Bjinte and Signore Kwan - 3 x French Clubmatch winner Frn Ch Lucciano Du Domaine Du Rauchbruy.

Godsend

The gathering of not only these bloodlines but also the strong, correct physical aspects of these Dogues means that our foundations and plans for the future are firmly set.

We owe a huge thanks to Luis - Titanes Del Cabo kennel in Spain for everything that he has helped us achieve. It has been a long task that began 12months ago and most certainly proved to be quite the 'nightmare' along the way.
